Angel’s Billabong
Billabong is an Australian term that usually refers to a remote pool left behind after a river’s course has changed. Here, it is a natural pool embedded in the cliff. It is filled with clear water at high tide. And natural pools appear at low tide. The water is very clear and quite fun to swim at low tide. But when the water is high, or when the waves are big, as soon as the first wave enters the pool, you should get out immediately. I saw tourists out of balance with the waves. And they were lucky not to be swept away by the waves outside the pool, because then it would be almost impossible to get back. Trust me, it happens. The following 2 photos were taken in 5 minutes.
